the location is awesome, right next to beach, water is super clean, and there is a ferry to go to porec for 8 euros return trip. I read reviews before that the sewer smells bad, which is true, but this somehow only happens when its raining... we stayed 3 days, on arrival it was raining heavily and the basin was closed, but when I opened it the strong sewer smell immediately came out, had to quickly close it again. The next day however, after the room was made the smell is gone, and could also be it was a sunny day.. then third day it was raining a bit again and smell is back when the basin is left open.. So we are assuming it's the sewerage system has some problem there when it rains. But the room is nice, the food is nice, the front desk and staff at the restaurant are all very friendly. It's really great value for the money. If they can make the balcony bigger by removing the giant sofa and remove the blue sticker on the window makes it a clear panorama view to the sea I don't see why this hotel cannot be rated as 4 stars. Great upgrading potential ^^

The food was amazing. The staff was very kind and tried their best to keep everything in order. The pool was convenient, clean. The hotel is located quite away from the centre of Porec and there are no regular buses or public transportation. Walking slowly takes you 1 hour to reach Porec through beaches and forests, it's a nice walk. There is a touristic train, quite expensive for what it is, to take you back and forth if you don't want to walk. In the hotel area there is a small supermarket and some food and clothes boothes. All in all we hade a great time. Great place for families. Carry your own towels if you plan on going to the beach or the pool.

- the swimming pool which was actually big enough to swim and not just stand and watch other people around ;-) - buffet breakfast and dinner - I have never seen so much food in my life, I swear! ;-) The choice of dishes was virtually unlimited and there was so much variety that it was easily possible to eat something completely different every morning and evening - a big recreational area with comfy sofas to and lamps and some soft music in the background to relax any time during the day - beautiful area at the seaside, close to pine trees, olive groves with opportunities to do different water sports but also biking and hiking

Last year I stayed here in Porec in a neighbouring hotel, and this year I came back because the surroundings are wonderful. Plavi Plava was the perfect choice for me. It is closest to the beach, which is very beautiful. The half board is perfect, good quality, varied, tasty food. The rooms are also adequate, with comfortable beds, air conditioning, suitable for relaxing. The TV also has channels from many countries. The staff is also friendly and nice everywhere.

The hotel is in a great location along the beach. It is easily accessible from Porec bus station, either by taxi or the tourist train. The staff is friendly, and the hotel offers a great breakfast and lunch buffet with drinks.
